Class Descriptions

Floor Classes

Pure Conditioning: Expect the unexpected!  This workout will use a variety of equipment.  Anything from steps, coreboards, weights, bands, medicine balls, resistaballs, gliding discs, and mats will be incorporated into your muscle conditioning workout.   Dare to be challenged!

H.E.A.T.: High Intensity Athletic Training, Bootcamp style class using resistance equipment, muscle, and heart.  Work hard and enjoy the HEAT.

Zumba: A “fun and easy to do” workout with motivating Latin music and unique moves to dance away your worries.

Total 45: Stylized and fun low impact dance class for all fitness levels.  The class lasts 45 minutes, but you will feel energized for hours.  Look to work cardio and muscular strength.

Kickbox Flex; All the intensity of kickboxing while adding light weights and core stabilization techniques to increase the cardio training effect.

Iron & Air: Muscle sculpting at it’s best! Entire class is based on conditioning muscles with dumbbells (iron) while improving the cardio training effect (air) utilizing the larger muscles in the leg to elevate heart rate and maintain the aerobic effect.

Core Express: 30 Minute express core workout for the exercise participant on the go.

Specialty Class: Classes with the latest in fitness techniques offered to improve training effect and revitalize your workout routine.  The duration of a specialty class is one calendar month.

Cycle Classes

Cycle: Indoor-cycling program using a high-performance stationary racing bike.  Techniques and positions have been selected to ensure a safe, fun, and effective workout for all students.  Instructors will assist all members in proper adjustment of their cycles.  45 Minute class

Cycore: Get 30 tough minutes of cardio on the bikes and then finish off your workout with a dynamic core strengthening section.

Mind and Body Classes

Pilates: The combined strengthening and lengthening of traditional Pilates, which will improve posture, core stability, and balance.

Gentle Yoga: Designed for all fitness levels.  A class providing the benefit of traditional yoga, but in a slightly less intense format.  It will help you to develop flexibility, improve strength, and breathing to soothe body, mind, and spirit.

Strength&Stretch: This class is designed to help the participant increase strength and flexibility, range of motion in the joints, and improve the overall quality of life through strengthening, stretching, and breathing techniques.
